Archipelago House in Stockholm, Sweden

On an island in the Stockholm archipelago, Sweden, an amazing house was built to enjoy the summer, overlooking the waters of the Baltic Sea.

The "Archipelago" house as it is called by its creators Tham & Videgard, is an eye catching piece of work. It is built in a "zigzagged" layout, and is surrounded by pine trees that guarantee incredible effects with shadows caused by sunlight.

All the bedrooms face the sea, which guarantees a panoramic view that is the 'in house' entertainment. Outside, walls with geometric shapes offer privacy and visual beauty. The long patio invites the inhabitants to enjoy the breeze of the tranquil natural environment. Lots of contemporaneity in an amazing project!
